Bay Insulation Systems is proud to announce they were recently awarded prestigious awards for their safety policies and facility performance in 2018 by three industry organizations.

In March, Bay was presented with the Platinum Gail Miller Recognition Program for Excellence in Safety Award from the National Frame Building Association (NFBA). To achieve the Gail Miller award, Bay’s safety program and the safety performance of the facilities were critiqued and graded, and the results revealed Bay’s dedication to safety.

In April, Bay was presented with the Platinum Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award by the National Insulation Association (NIA) at NIA’s 64th Annual Convention in Nassau, Bahamas. To win this award, applicant companies remain anonymous and are evaluated on the basis of their overall safety program, means of communication, safety policy, and safety record. Bay has been awarded the highest, Platinum-level award the last three consecutive years, and they were the only Metal Building Insulation Laminator to achieve the Platinum award for the past two years. In fact, every year that Bay has applied, they’ve been awarded the Platinum Theodore H. Brodie Distinguished Safety Award.

And in May, at the MBMA Spring Meeting in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Bay was presented with the Associate Member Award from the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA). The Associate Member Awards went to only four companies with facilities that achieved zero recordable incidents for 2018, which is a significant accomplishment. Bay was the only Metal Building Insulation Laminator to achieve this award. This includes the facilities in Aurora, CO; Baton Rouge, LA; Brooklyn Heights, OH; Dallas, TX; Easton, PA; Fresno, CA; Fridley, MN; High Point, NC; Houston, TX; Memphis, TN; Norcross, GA; Orlando, FL; Pensacola, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Raleigh, NC; Roanoke, VA; San Marcos, TX; and Sumner, WA.

Ron Holder, VP of Sales, said, “We are committed to making safety part of our culture, and consistently
attaining Platinum status exemplifies we practice what we preach.”

Bay is extremely proud of their operations team and each of their facilities for carrying out the safety program every day.
